Johnson County Library is committed to listening to the needs of our community and providing services, materials, spaces, events, programming and ideas that will bring value to people’s lives. As the world changes and continues to evolve, so too do the needs and desires of our community.
While no one can predict what the next five years will bring, the 2024-2029 strategic plan keeps us focused on our five key areas of performance below. The plan is purposeful in its focus on our community, of which you are a part, and helps us balance the fulfillment of existing promises to you—especially as we approach the halfway point of our Comprehensive Library Master Plan—with the ability to respond nimbly to new opportunities and challenges.
