Sandra Scott-Revelle is a textile artist whose vibrant narrative quiltwork unites stitches and sacred stories, highlighting testimonies drawn from recorded narratives of African American slaves. Their simple yet complex lives, heartbreaks and victories are unveiled using original appliques stitched by hand and machine. Sandra’s artwork will be on display at the Gardner branch until December 21, 2023.
