FamilySearch (Affiliate Library Access) Articles & Research Websites
FamilySearch provides searchable collections of historical records and images for genealogy research from the U.S. and around the world. Includes records for birth, death, marriage, divorce, church, military, probate, land, passenger lists, voter rolls, census and much more. Also features guides to get started, research tips and activities for the whole family.
FamilySearch is publicly searchable from anywhere, but some collections are restricted. Johnson County Library is a FamilySearch Affiliate Library that provides expanded in-Library access to more collections. Use a Library computer or connect your laptop to the JoCoLibrary Public Wireless network from any of our branches, then sign into the FamilySearch website.
