Summer Reading 2026

Read, Score, Roar!

The Summer Reading Program is an initiative that aims to promote reading and literacy to children, teens and adults. Each summer, the Library offers programs and events connected to the Summer Reading theme. This year’s theme is Read, Score, Roar and was chosen by metro libraries across the KC Region who agreed upon a shared theme and artwork. We are excited to see the results of this metro-wide library collaboration!

It's all dinosaurs, soccer balls and books this summer!
