Manifest is a supernatural drama television series. It shows the life of the passengers and crew of a commercial flight 828 who suddenly reappears after being presumed dead for five and a half years. This flight was a flight offered as the first flight filled up. This caused some health benefits for the advancement of solutions (such as for Cal). However, passengers experienced odd “callings” telling them what to do, coming with rewards and consequences.

The movie Missing follows June, a high schooler living in LA. June’s dad unfortunately suffered a brain tumor while June was a child, so June’s mom has been taking care of her. June’s mom had recently gone on a vacation with her boyfriend, Kevin, to Colombia. Although it seems like Kevin and her mom are having a great time, when June goes to pick them up from the airport, they are nowhere to be found. Panicking, June contacts the police, but they struggle to find out what is happening.

Summary: Look for Me is a thriller novel by Lisa Gardner that follows Detective D.D. Warren as she investigates a gruesome murder scene where a family of five has been brutally slaughtered, except for the eldest daughter who is missing. Flora Dane, a survivor of a past abduction, becomes a key character as she assists D.D. in the search for the missing girl while dealing with her own traumatic past.

Avery Kylie Grambs lives in New Castle, Connecticut with her sister, Libby. All she wants is to make it out of high school and major in actuarial science. One False Note is the second book in the 39 Clues series. Dan and Amy Cahill follow the life of Mozart the famous composer. They must travel through Austria to find a clue while their evil relatives are right on their tail. Will Dan and Amy find the clue first?

Out of Sight, Out of Time by Ally Carter is the fifth installment in the Gallagher Girls series, following the adventures of Cammie Morgan and her friends at the Gallagher Academy for Exceptional Young Women, a school for spies. In this book, Cammie wakes up with no memory of the past few months and is faced with the challenge of piecing together what happened during that time.

In the fictional town of Lost, Alaska there were two best friends named Kyra and Corey.  When Corey has to move as Kyra is diagnosed with bipolar, she makes Kyra promise to stay strong in a town that does not accept her. When Corey gets the news that Kyra drowned in an icy lake, she is shattered. The book follows Corey’s journey of finding out what happened in Lost after she left, and why the town says her death was “meant to be”. 

Do not miss out on E. Lockhart’s gripping novel, We Were Liars. The story begins with 17 year old Cadence, who spends the summer every year on her wealthy family’s private island on the coast of Massachusetts. She enjoys her summer with her cousins, the “liars,” and a boy who is a friend of the family. The group of them spend hours away from their mothers who are feuding over ownership of the property and inheritance of the wealth from their eccentric grandfather.
