Set in early 19th-century England, the novel follows Elizabeth Bennet as she navigates societal expectations, family pressures, and her own prejudices. The arrival of the wealthy Mr. Bingley in the neighborhood creates a stir. He starts liking Jane, the eldest Bennet sister. Amelia Unabridged is a fiction novel by Ashley Schumacher. Weighed down by grief, a surprise package takes Amelia Griffen to a bookstore in Michigan. Amelia finds her future changing as she discovers who she is, and, just maybe, falls in love along the way. This book is beautifully written and is one of those stories that is simultaneously heartwarming and heartbreaking. My rating says 5 stars because there’s no option for 500- I loved everything about it.
