representation of this book. I highly recommend reading It Ends with Us before starting the sequel,

A.K.A. this book. To summarize briefly, Lily, now a single mom, struggles to balance her new life

with the one she had with Ryle. However, her childhood lover, Atlas, reappears in her life and pays

back the indebted love that Lily once showed him. Through a series of events that Lily navigates

Delirium by Lauren Oliver follows Lena, a soon to be eighteen year old teenage girl. In Lena’s

world love is seen as dangerous and unpredictable, it causes havoc and apparently eventually

ends in death. Love is seen as a disease. To prevent people from catching this disease

everyone must have a surgery that cures them from it when they turn eighteen. In Lena's case

she believes that love is dangerous and can't wait for her surgery so she can finally be cured

It Starts With Us follows Lily and Atlas after the end of the first book: It Ends With Us. The reason

Colleen Hoover decided to write a second book was because of all the popularity It Ends With Us

was getting. Many of Hoover's fans encouraged her to write a sequel which she did by giving us

Queen of the Wicked after selling her soul to discover the truth behind her sister’s murder. She is

confronted with the various vices associated with the Malvegi or Princes of Hell, with the belief that she

ultimately will join the Prince of Pride as his bride. Her intriguing encounters with the different Princes

Reminders Of Him follows the story of Kenna Rowan after she gets out of prison. She goes to

prison after driving under the influence and killing her boyfriend in a freak accident. Carrying

the guilt with her years later, she returns to the town she lived in with her deceased boyfriend.

While staying in the town, she keeps her head low while trying to reunite with her daughter,

but it seems like the universe has something else planned. As she continues to fight for her 4-

It Starts with Us, by Colleen Hoover, is a romance novel and the second in a two-book series.

This series is a must read but It Ends with Us must be read first to fully enjoy and understand

the second book.

The book The Undead Truth of Us by Britany S. Lewis is a story of a young girl named Zharie.

Zharie’s mother had just turned into a zombie, and had passed away shortly after. We get to see

Zharie’s growth as she finds love, and discovers new things about her mother and her love

interest as well. I would give this book a 3 out of 5 rating. I really enjoyed the detail Lewis put

into the making of Zharie, and her life. She is an extremely unique and interesting character.

Cassia is a 17 year old who lives in a society where she can’t make any decisions on

her own. She has known how her life will play out since she was a young girl. At 17 she

would be told who she would marry at age 21. Soon after that she will be told what

job she has been selected for. She will die on her 80th birthday. This is how everyone

lives their lives and no one questions it, until there is a mistake. Cassia is matched

with Xander, her friend that lives nearby, which is already happens very little. Cassia

This book got me out of one of my worst reading slumps I’ve ever had. Filled with faeries, the

human world, ideas of patriarchy and power, and more, this book is more than anything I

could’ve asked for or even expected. An enemies to friends to maybe lovers, admiration from

afar, all of which are some of my favorite tropes personally. The two main characters, Jude, a

human living in the Faerie world, and Carden, the youngest son to the High King of Faerie.
