In this book, it is Chief’s birthday so the cops have a birthday party and gift him “memory dots” and a pet fish. At his house, Chief accidentally causes the drops to fall on the fish, making it super intelligent and allowing it to do things like telekinesis. Later, there is a robbery at the pet store, and everyone thinks that it is Petey.

Dog Man by Dav Piley is a graphic novel featuring George and Harold(main characters in the well-known Captain Underpants) and a comic they wrote when they were “younger”. This book starts out with a policeman who wasn’t intelligent but was strong, and his dog who wasn’t strong but was very intelligent. An explosion occured, and conveniently the police’s body survived and the dog’s head survived. They got sewn together, and Dog Man was created.

Stick Dog Dreams of Ice Cream, by Tom Watson, is the fourth book of the Stick Dog series. The book starts with the dogs lazing around on a burning hot summer day, trying to figure out ways to cool down. They find some human kids playing around in a sprinkler, and once they move away, they play themselves. But this method of cooling is only temporary and not very satisfying. Suddenly, they hear some horrible music, and see a weird-shaped truck with a man inside giving humans cylinders with spheres on it.

Stick Dog(#1) is the first book in the series Stick Dog, which is about 5 stray dogs who go on interesting missions to find food to eat. There are five dogs: Karen, Mutt, Poo-poo, Stripes and Stick-Dog. In this book, the dogs are relaxing in the suburbs of a big city when they smell hamburgers coming from the park. When they go to investigate, Poo-poo gets distracted by a squirrel, his arch-nemesis, and tries to figure out ways to attack the squirrel. Stick-dog helps him focus again.

Big Nate Lives it Up, is a wacky and whimsical story, with never ending laughs! The characters also help the plot and story a lot, as they can go against Big Nate, or they can help him, and off endless laughs! Another reason why I love this book is because it also happens to incorporate a little mystery here and there, and will also have you constantly giggling at every page. I would definitely recommend this book to people who enjoy books with lots and lots of humor!

Summary: Nate has a problem, and his name is Breckenridge Puffington III. He’s a new kid at PS. 38, Nate’s school, and Principal Nichols is forcing Nate to be Breckenridge’s “buddy”. The only thing is, Breckenridge seems to be quite a nerd. He doesn’t like cartooning or sports like Nate, and instead enjoys FLOWERS. Yeah, you read that right. Flowers.
