George and Harold have pulled a lot of pranks at Jerome Horwitz Elementary. However,

their latest prank has made the cafeteria ladies quit their job, so now the principal, Mr. Krupp, has

to find replacements. Luckily, he finds three newcomers to hire. However, it is soon discovered

that these new cafeteria ladies are actually aliens in disguise, and they have turned all the students

and teachers into zombie nerds! Now, George, Harold, and Captain Underpants must stop these

George and Harold are back at it again with their pranks. It is the Second Annual Invention

Convention at Jerome Horwitz Elementary School, and George and Harold decide to sabotage all

of students’ inventions. However, they soon are caught and punished by their principal, Mr. Krupp,

but George and Harold still haven’t learned their lesson. They decide to make a new Captain

Underpants comic, and once they are done they try to use one of the students’ machines to make

George Beard and Harold Hutchins are the class clowns Jerome Horwitz Elementary

School. The two are best friends and make comics about a superhero called Captain Underpants.

They also pull many pranks that get them into all sorts of trouble. However, their Principal, Mr.

Krupp, isn’t amused by their “jokes” and is always trying to find a way to punish them. He soon

finally catches the boys and punishes them, but the George and Harold get out of their punishment

Greg Heffley has never been good in sport, nor has he ever been very interested in them.

In fact, he has decided that he shouldn’t have any affair with sports at all. However, everything

changes when Greg’s mom gets him to try out for basketball, and he somehow makes the team

despite his bad performance. Now Greg has to try and make it through the season, but things aren’t

looking so good for Heffley and his team. Will Greg awaken the inner athlete inside of him, or

will he mess everything up?

Max is a young troubadour traveling with Uncle Budrick across the land. However, Max

doesn’t want to be a troubadour, but instead a knight. Max is soon given the chance to become a

hero when both her and Uncle Budrick arrive in Byjovia. There they find out that King Gastley

has taken control of the kingdom, making Byjovia no longer the great land it once was. To make

matters worse, Max’s uncle is soon taken away by Gastley and sent to his palace! In order to save

The story is set in the middle ages and focused on a girl named Max and her friends, the

Midknights. Max wants to become a knight and go on great adventures, so she is currently

attending knight school. However, her homeland, Byjovia, is soon under attack by creatures that

can take the form of any Byjovian! These creatures are known as the bodkins! In order to protect

Byjovia and defeat the bodkins, Max and the Midknights must travel to the creatures’ homeland,

Billy Madison is a hilarious movie about a grown-up immature person named Billy. Who, in order

to inherit his father’s hotel, must repeat all twelve grades of school again. But this is no easy

task for someone as stupid as Billy, for he almost loses the second-grade spelling bee. My

favorite scene, however, was when Billy threw dodgeballs at all the kids during recess. While

the adult audience may not be fan of the slap-happy Billy Madison, the younger audience, like

Raina is just entering middle school and changes are starting to happen. Friendships, relationships, mood swings etc. every day is different for Raina, and nothing is certain. How with Raina deal with everyday challenges that are thrown her way? This book was definitely an eye opener. Seeing Raina go through 6th through 10th grade, was an experience. The feeling this book gave me was very exciting. I was anticipating what was coming next and loved seeing her growth throughout.

Wink is a weird and not so enjoyable fiction novel by Rob Harrel. This book is about a kid named Ross, one day in the middle of summer he finds a big lump on his right eye. Ross gets diagnosed with a rare eye cancer, at school, he is known as the cancer kid. Ross has to deal with a lot of stuff like his eye goo, winking, and bullies. I love the way the author adds funny comics and pictures to describe the story, but the way the author presented the book wasn’t enjoyable to me.

Nate, president of the robotics team, wants the school funding to focus on their needs. Charlie, the captain of the basketball team, wants the school funding to go towards getting the cheerleaders new clothes. Both parties decide to enter a robot battle competition to win $10,000, which will be able fund both clubs. What happens next? Read more to find out!
