Shawnee Mission East National Honor Society

Saturday, January 9 to Sunday, May 15, 2016

The purpose of National Arts Honor Society (NAHS) is to recognize high school students who have shown outstanding ability in art; to foster excellence and a dedicated spirit to the pursuit of art; and to bring art to the attention of the school and community. The works on display feature young artists working in a variety of mediums and messages from Shawnee Mission East High School

This exhibition is made possible through a partnership with InterUrban ArtHouse (IUAH), a non-profit organization creating a new hub for arts and culture in Johnson County, Kansas. IUAH’s mission is to enrich the cultural and economic vibrancy of Downtown Overland Park and surrounding community by creating a place where artists and creative industries can work and prosper in an affordable, sustainable and inclusive environment.
