Parents and caregivers, we know you're carrying quite the cargo when you're caring for kids! If you're at capacity and could use either a clone or a coffee, come to the Library and peruse our calendar of events for caregivers!

 

Storytime Kickoff

Confused about the right storytime for your child? Come learn about storytimes and meet our storytime leaders. Enjoy a special storytime, followed by fun activities. Kids have a chance to "play librarian" by shelving books, putting on a storytime, and checking in and out books.

Parents Resource Night

Searching for fun educational resources for you and your children? Look no further! At this event, librarians will help parents navigate free educational resources and find creative ways to engage your children. While parents soak up these resources, kids can relax with some yoga, puzzles and/or books.

6 by 6: Celebrate What's New

Join us as we unveil an enhanced 6 by 6 Ready to Read early literacy activity space at Leawood Pioneer Library. Preschool storytime at 9:30 am followed by special guests, snacks and fun! Our new interactive unit is generously funded by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation and Royals Charities.
