They write: "The most famous groundhog in history, Punxsutawney Phil, owes his fame to a Pennsylvania Dutch superstition and Bill Murray: If the groundhog sees its shadow, winter will last another six weeks; if he doesn't, then Bill Murray will be stuck in a time loop. Groundhog Day has now entered the popular vernacular to mean repetition and monotony in addition to heralding the arrival of spring."
