Gelli Printing Workshop for Tweens

DIY accessories let you showcase your love for biking while tapping into your creativity! Join the Johnson County Library MakerSpace staff, BikeWalkKC and local ride group leaders as we explore how to use various materials to create unique bike flair. Get your hands messy and dive into the art of papermaking in this creative, hands-on workshop! Using fresh pulp from a local paper maker, you'll learn each step of the process—from forming sheets with moulds and deckles to adding your own personal flair. You’ll leave with a few sheets of handmade paper and a better appreciation for this timeless craft.
LEGO® Print Making Workshop
Wednesday, June 25 • 1-3 p.m. at the Leawood Pioneer Library
Ages: Kids
Explore the art of printmaking with Lego bricks! In this engaging workshop, kids will design custom prints by using Legos to create unique patterns, textures and shapes. With ink and brayers, participants will bring their Lego creations to life on paper, creating one-of-a-kind prints to take home.
