Johnson County Loves Libraries

 Our planning included analysis of the value Libraries create in our Community: The “Return on Investment” study is included in the plan.

Dr. Alfred Ho and Dr. Marilu Goodyear of KU Edwards Applied Scholarship Program showed that libraries are worth it!

 Return on investment: $92.6 million benefit and 300% bang for every buck

According to University of Kansas research, Johnson County Library's services, economic impact and social benefits have a value of $92.6 million.

That means Johnson County residents get a 300% bang for every buck invested in their Library system.
