We Strive Together
All together now. Such a simple phrase yet it holds so much weight especially in our current world, where people are more different from each other than ever. It’s human nature to feel a sense of belonging with people we share more similarities with, and to believe people with different ways of life to be “wrong.” I know we’ve all let our differences change how we act towards people and perceive them at some point in our lives. It’s just a natural instinct. However, like other aspects of humans have evolved over time, this must too. We should stop judging people by how alike they are to us, and instead judge people based on their merit. Together, as one, we can accomplish greater things than we can apart. “Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success” ~Henry Ford. This quote shows merely coming together is not enough to be “all together,” we must be able to push aside our differences and work together in order to be successful. Although one person can make a difference, many people working together can make an even greater difference and accomplish goals much more efficiently. So, let’s join together as one, no matter what you look like, who you love, or what you believe in. All together now!
