Conrad Maddox finds a locker key in his car at the airport parking lot. In the locker, Conrad finds a Halliburton case. Inside the case is a file on the campaign manager of the candidate for governor of California and a couple of guns! Conrad’s advertising firm has the contract for the campaign so this is very intriguing. Our intrepid hero figures it all out along the way! Everybody is kept guessing till the very end. All this action comes with a running commentary on the state of the world. Internecine is very enjoyable!
