Amy Falls Down by Jincy Willett

Aug 17, 2013

Amy Gallup has spent the last 20 or so years remembering her past with its joys and triumphs, teaching online writing classes, and writing in her notebook and her online blog.  But things are about to change: Amy falls in her backyard, hits her head, and is taken to the emergency room.   She comes home thinking that everything is normal, including a gigantic headache.  The next thing she remembers is waving goodbye to a departing reporter after an interview.  When the interview is published she does not remember any of the things she supposedly said.   This is only the beginning of Amy’s journey back to interaction and reconnection with others.  With Amy Falls Down Jincy Willett has written a delightful book with insights not only into Amy Gallup but also into the psyches of the readers.  This is definitely a book to be recommended.
