The Devil’s Double starring Dominic Cooper (bridegroom from Mamma Mia!) is about Latif Yahia, an Iraqi officer forced to become the double for Uday Hussein, Sadam’s oldest son. Cooper plays both Latif and Uday, and he did a very good job of making me believe he was two different people. Many believe Uday was a psychopath with violent and sadistic tendencies and this movie does represent Uday this way. He kidnapped, raped, and then murdered school girls. Parts of the movie I had to turn away from. This movie has nudity and is very violent, but Dominic Cooper’s performance is worth watching…and I did learn a lot about Uday Hussein. This is not a movie for those that steer away from even the smallest bit of violence.
