My favorite books of 2012 (in the order I read them)!

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green Who has read this and not fallen in love immediately with Augustus and Hazel? An epic love story about two amazing people with cancer. This book will make you laugh, make you cry (sometimes at the same time) and change your outlook on life. Go read it now if you haven't already.

I’ve recently been obsessed with reading about ultra-runners, so I wasn’t surprised to find that running does not hold a monopoly on extremists. Bicycle Dreams documents the 2005 transcontinental Race Across America (World’s Toughest Bicycle Race). Each year, cyclists from around the world gather in California and race to Maryland in less than twelve days. I wasn’t kidding when I said extremists. The race is about 3000 miles and in 27 years there have been less than 200 finishers.

This romantic suspense thriller takes place in a rural area about two hours outside of Boston, Massachusetts. It's Christmas Eve, and all is neither calm nor bright. They are in the midst of a nor'easter. The snow storm veered south instead of north like the weather man predicted, and is now paralyzing New England.
