The Lunar Chronicles does it again! The third book in this series, Cress, did not disappoint any of my expectations. This book was based on Rapunzel, and I loved how everything tied together in the end! We end up meeting (in more detail) Cress, a lunar trapped/kept in a satellite above Earth, who is an amazing hacker working for Queen Levana. This book mainly focuses on Cress and Captain Thorne but we also get introduced to Jacin, one of the guards for Queen Levana’s thaumaturge (person of power in the Lunar government) Sybil. Anyways, meanwhile Queen Levana is still trying to marry Emperor Kai, and Cinder & the crew on the Rampion are still trying to stop her! Even if it means they must make a trip to Africa…
I really liked this book and I’m just kind of surprised at how good it was, even as the third book in the series. In some other series that I have read, the third book is where the plot drags a bit, but this is not the case for the Lunar Chronicles! I recommend it for those who have read Scarlet & Cinder! If you haven’t read the lunar Chronicles, please do. Especially if you like sci-fi, action, fantasy, and romance!
