Little Women is a wonderful movie about the March sisters, Jo, Amy, Meg, and Beth. Each of these four sisters are completely different, and want different things. They were raised with their mother, who only wanted the best for them. Their mother helped them to be independent and smart. This movie is about their childhood, and later cuts to the present time. It shows how each of the girls had changed over time, and shares with us the things that shaped them to be how they are.

Caraval by Stephanie Garber, is a fantasy book about a girl named Scarlett Dragna. Scarlett grew up on the Conquered Islands of Trisda with her sister Dontella and her father who never allowed her to leave the Island. Growing up her grandma would tell her and her sister stories of a magical game called Caraval which was created and run by a man named Legend. Scarlet and her sister always dreamed of visiting Caraval, especially Scarlett who wrote to Legend multiple times hoping to receive a response back.

“My darling girl, when are you going to realize that being normal is not necessarily a virtue? It rather denotes a lack of courage." 

After the sudden death of their parents, two sisters move to a sleepy Massachusetts town to live with their eccentric aunts. The family has a secret, an affinity with magic which makes them live town pariahs. Growing up the sisters must learn to work together, as nothing binds people quite like magic.

Caraval is a story of the love of two sisters, Scarlett and Tella. Scarlett has always dreamed of going to the magical performance of Caraval. The only thing stopping her and her sister is their cruel father, who hasn't let them leave the island. Now Scarlett's father has arranged a marriage for her as well. However, Scarlett's dream has come true, as she receives an invitation to the show. With the help of a mysterious sailor, she and her sister leave the island.

Summary: The Last Summer of the Garrett Girls by Jessica Spotswood is a heartfelt contemporary young adult novel that follows the lives of the four Garrett sisters: Des, Bea, Kat, and Vi. Each sister yearns for something different. Des dreams of a career in fashion, but finances and societal expectations stand in her way. Bea seeks love, yet she fears rejection. Kat craves independence but is weighed down by responsibilities. Vi, the youngest, yearns for adventure but feels held back by her age.

great comic book that journeys her story with her sister Amara

while traveling for almost a week. They are not each other's

favorite people, so will it work out for them?

After a tragic accident, two very close sisters have to learn how to maintain their

closeness through a traumatic experience. Roo, the older sister, crashes her car and gets

“locked-in syndrome” where she can see and hear everything but cannot respond verbally or

physically. She and her younger sister, Tilly, have to figure out how to communicate with each

other again. The book talks about dealing with guilt and how traumatic events can make

relationships between people even more complex. It depicts a lot of real emotions: anger,

When twelve year old Lulu’s dad goes missing, it becomes Lulu’s job to

take care of her sister Serena. Lulu has to take her fathers work with only

about seventy dollars, while taking care of her classes. She has to overcome

her problems with hard work in order to protect herself and her sister from

getting separated.

The Twin by Natasha Preston is about a girl named Ivy who welcomes

her twin sister, Iris, after a fatal accident happening to their mother. Ivy

wasn’t exactly thrilled but was willing to share her life with Iris. But Iris

seems a bit obsessed with Ivy’s life. Almost wanting to take over her life.

Ivy tries to pretend she is just being paranoid but now everyone is under

Iris’s spell. Ivy must figure out what’s going on and what are Iris’s true

intentions.

Vanishing Girls, by Lauren Oliver, is about 2 sisters finding their ways into the world. Nic and Dara weren’t the closest of sisters but they looked out for each other. They would play games, have fun talking for hours and hours about anything and everything, doing things sisters do. But then things started to happen. Nic started to grow up trying to be more protective of Dara but that only led to Dara getting hurt. A car accident that left beautiful Dara scarred.
