A Court of Mist and Fury is the second installment in the ACOTAR series by Sarah J Maas. It is one of the best books I have ever read and is my favorite in the entire series. The adventures the characters experience are so intriguing and forces you to keep turning the page. The plot twists are exciting, and you don’t even see them coming. The dialogue is also well written and fun.

It has been eight years since the Battle of the Serpent and now Suren, the once-queen of the Court Of The Teeth is much older. Suren has not visited the Court or seen Lady Nore since, instead she has been in the mortal world living in the woods and freeing mortals from cruel bargains. Only after her run-in with Prince Oak, heir to the throne of Elfhame, has she come to awareness of Lady Nore’s revenge plans. After being defeated during the Battle of the Serpent, Lady Nore has plans to build up her army of sticks through ancient magic.

A Court of Frost and Starlight is the fourth book in the series and definitely the most boring. This book is short, but it felt like forever while reading it. It is the definition of a filler book as it follows Feyre and her family in the Night Court over a holiday. This book is different from the others since you get multiple perspectives which was interesting. The book was not bad, but it was definitely not on the same level as the other books.

The Cruel Prince follows the story of Jude Duarte, a seemingly normal human living an average life. However, after witnessing her parents’ murder at 7 years old, she was dragged to live alongside these magical and perfect faeries in Elfhame. Growing up Jude was always belittled and questioned because of her lack of powers. She was bullied by other faeries, especially the king's youngest son, Prince Cardan.

The Cruel Prince by Holly Black is an entrancing book about finding your place. This fantasy adventure YA book tells the story of Jude Duarte, a 17 year old girl living in Elfhame, a faerie realm. Things are never easy for her as she navigates this new life, always shamed for being normal where normal wasn't normal. Jude Duarte hates being seen as inferior and all she wants to be is a knight so she can prove her worth.

Crescent City is the first in the newest series of critically acclaimed Sarah J. Maas’s works. It’s arguably the most confusing series of Maas’s to start, purely because you don’t really know what’s going on for a hot second. Bryce Quinlan is a young woman who is half-Fae, and is quite the party-goer. One thing unfortunately leads to another, and Bryce finds her friend, Danika, dead in their apartment. A couple years later, Bryce is investigating the murder.
