Good Girl, Bad Blood follows Pip after the events of solving her last case. It doesn’t take long for Pip to take on a new case. When Jamie Reynolds disappears on the anniversary of Andie Bell's death, Pip recognizes that it’s too big of a coincidence to ignore. While this book wasn’t as good as the first one I still really liked it. I thought that it very quickly picked up after the events of the last book, and had really good pacing overall.

Maia Tamarin has traveled to the very ends of the earth to create three otherworldly dresses made from the laughter of the sun, the tears of the moon, and the blood of the stars. However, Maia has paid a grievous price for this. Every day since she struck a deal with the demon Bandur, she becomes more and more like him — her eyes glow red, she hears voices urging her to harness the darkness inside of her, and she sees visions of a bloody future. However, Maia has much, much more to worry about.

This book is by far better than Ungifted, in my opinion. I liked how Donovan was one of the main characters in this book but I really liked how they switched the role and made Noah the second main character. In my mind I thought if Gordon Korman was going to make a second book Donovan would be the main character but it was surprising how Noah got to be a main character in this book more than he was in Ungifted.
