The book The Undead Truth of Us by Britany S. Lewis is a story of a young girl named Zharie.

Zharie’s mother had just turned into a zombie, and had passed away shortly after. We get to see

Zharie’s growth as she finds love, and discovers new things about her mother and her love

interest as well. I would give this book a 3 out of 5 rating. I really enjoyed the detail Lewis put

into the making of Zharie, and her life. She is an extremely unique and interesting character.

World War Z tells a story of the zombie war, a massive outbreak across the globe that turned humans into mindless, deadly creatures. The main character is tasked with creating a report about the entirety of the war. He does so, but finds that almost half of his work has been removed from the final draft, on the grounds of being too “intimate” and “emotional.” This book is a collection of what was removed from that report, published in the hopes that the horror and fear of this event should never happen again.

There really isn't anything better than a good zombie story. I can't tell you how many times I have lost myself in the story of the undead plague. I think of this as research for the future. It preparation for the inevitable. I have my escape all planned out (and no I won't tell you my plans!), have you throught about packing your outbreak bag and figuring out where you will go? Maybe you should read some of these books and figure it out!

Have you planned your escape route in case of a zombie attack? I know I have. But there is no need to run from the zombies of Daniel Waters' new book Generation Dead. This is the sweet, heart-warming story of a goth chick, Phoebe and her zombie boyfriend. OK, maybe it isn't all that sweet. The world changed two years ago when teens stopped dying. Well, more accurately, they wouldn't stay dead. A few hours after a teenager dies the are reanimated.
