This mysterious book will leave you on the edge of your seat! Five high school students walk into detention, but only four make it out alive. When the outcast of the school, Simon, dies under mysterious conditions- his four classmates become suspects. As the investigation unfolds, it becomes clear that Simon was planning to reveal juicy secrets about each of them. Each student wants to clear their name and keep their secrets buried to protect their high school image. With conflicting motives and witnesses, it’s unclear who is truly innocent or lying.

This book is one of my favorites. It is a thrilling story that expertly combines high school stereotypes with juicy scandals. As a high schooler myself, I was able to understand the struggles of many of the characters. Additionally, the use of multiple narrators by the author kept me guessing all the way until the very end. The intriguing characters and binge-worthy plot make this a highly entertaining, unputdownable read. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves mysteries or teenage drama. Once you start reading it, you won’t be able to stop!
