The Glass Hotel is a mystery book written by Emily St. John Mandel. This book follows the story of Vincent who is a hotel bartender. Throughout the book we follow her story as she becomes twisted with the hotel owner who is running a Ponzi scheme. Suddenly the scheme collapses and Vincent and the other investors' lives change. The book then follows the stories of the other people that were impacted by the scheme, and we learn about their lives before and after the scheme collapses. The narrative jumps from person to person and timeline to timeline creating a wonderful book to read. I thought the book was a little confusing at times but when I finished the book, I felt like I had a more clear understanding of the story and its plot. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes complex stories and enjoys mystery.
