Kingdom of the Wicked by Kerri Maniscalco is fantasy fiction. Emilia and her twin sister Vittoria,
and their family, are witches living in Italy. They avoid humans but one night, when Vittoria is
murdered, Emilia vows to do anything to get revenge for her sister and find the murderer. Her
plan didn’t include accidentally summoning one of the six Deadly Princes of Sin- Wrath. Emilia
knows not to trust Wrath, she’s been warned her entire life about how dangerous the Princes of
Hell are but Wrath insists he’s on Emilia’s side. And she’s desperate enough to believe him. As
the two follow clues and face great dangers, Emilia soon realizes that when it comes to the
Kingdom of the Wicked, nothing is what it seems. This book was so unbelievably good. I adored
how strong Emilia is and I loved Wrath and his entire personality. I especially loved their banter.
The mystery was really unpredictable and I loved their journey. The ending was super confusing
though. I would still give it a 5/5, I couldn’t put it down!
