George and Harold love to pull all sorts of pranks and jokes. However, when their latest
prank makes their science teacher quit his job, Mr. Krupp has to find a replacement. Luckily, he
finds one to hire that goes by the name of Professor Pippy P. Poopypants. Of course, George,
Harold, and the rest of their classmates can’t stop laughing at the professor’s silly name. This
makes Professor Poopypants so mad that he uses his inventions to force everyone around their
world to change their names to silly ones. Now, George, Harold, and Captain Underpants have to
stop Professor Poopypants from making everyone’s names silly before it is too late!
Captain Underpants was one of my most favorite books to read during my days in
elementary school. This book is filled with all sorts of action and humor, as well as the other ones
in the series. However, I wouldn’t recommend this book to readers who prefer to read long books,
as this one can be quick to finish. I believe this book is best suited for more younger readers who
are developing their reading skills and like to read stories filled with humor.
