The Hunger Games, by Suzanne Collins, is a Science Fiction book. Summary: Katnis Everdeen is a sixteen year old girl who lives in future America. Katnis goes to compete in “The Hunger Games,” along with a boy named Peeta. The two train for weeks before actually competing and risking their lives in a game.
Opinion: I really liked the book more than the movie because the movie leaves out a lot of details written in the book. First off, I love the idea of the book. I think the Katnis makes a great competitor, even though she got lucky most of the time. Lastly, I think the character development for Katnis and Peeta. Hence, I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.
