Katniss discovers district 13 after destroying the Hunger Games arena. She joins the rebellion as a figure of hope and courage, under the leadership of President Coin, hoping to find and rescue Peeta from the capitol.
This movie is my least favorite of the franchise because it feels slow and like not a lot happens. I did watch Mockingjay Part 2 right after because I had to finish the series but honestly they both blend together. My favorite part of this movie is the "fire is catching" speech because Jennifer Lawrence put so much emotion and power into that monologue, making it one of my favorite lines in the franchise. Also the twist at the end of this movie is devastating and I did not see it coming. This movie is more focused on the fighting in regards to the revolution so there is more death and violence in this movie that the prevouis ones. I would recommend this movie if you liked the divergent books/movies and are okay watching some violence and death.
