Shatter Me follows Juliet Ferrars, a seventeen year old girl with a lethal touch. Throughout her
whole entire life Juliet is seen as a monster and has been in hospitals, detention centers and
solitary confinement for most of her life even experiencing neglect from her family and peers.
Into almost a year in confinement Juliet received a roommate, Adam Kent who is one of Aaron
Warner's soldiers Juliet is sent to be Aaron’s personal weapon and to use her touch to fight in
wars and kill civilians who rebel against the Reestablishment which is an international movement
that is trying to recreate earth. Adam and Juliet develop feelings for each other after Adam
realizes that he can touch her and the two decide to run away from the reestablishment
together, but their plan takes an abrupt turn when they run into an organization that is fighting
against the reestablishment.
I give this book four out of five stars because I thought the plot was a little rushed like Adam and
Juliet's relationship. I was also a little underwhelmed and disappointed. I do think that the
sequels to this book are much better.
