Space Case, a gripping novel by Stuart Gibbs, follows 12-year-old Dashiel Gibson as he delves into the mysterious death of Ronald Holtz, a fellow resident on the moon. The intriguing lunar setting, and well-developed characters make the story truly engaging. The fast-paced plot adds to the suspense, making the novel even more thrilling. I would give this book a rating of four out of five stars due to the underlying tension throughout the story and the high stakes of not uncovering the murderer in such a confined environment. I also appreciate the cleverly placed clues that allow the reader to act like the protagonist and solve the mystery, which seems to be a common theme amongst Stuart Gibbs books.
