In the first book of The Selection Series, America Singer gets chosen to be in the selection. This is a nightmare for her. In the selection 35 girls have to compete to make Prince Maxon fall in love with one of them. America grew up in a poor family and going to a palace is going to be a big change for her. In this futuristic romance novel, America will have to follow her heart, even if she doesn’t like what her heart is telling her.
The Selection is by far one of my new favorite books. The way Kiera Cass wrote was just amazing. I really enjoyed how there were some dystopian aspects but not too much. At times I felt that I was one of the characters in the palace. This book couldn’t have been any better. It is truly one of the best books I have ever read.
