Kiss and Tell is a story about Hunter, a boy going through a hard breakup with his boyfriend. A boy who is also in a band that is widely popular. But he doesn’t know how to be the perfect gay boy for the band. Stuck between things The Label wants from him and the new relationship he’s falling into with another band’s drummer, Hunter is stuck. But when the media’s idea of him is changed after some texts get leaked, he must juggle his actual life and what people want from him.
Kiss and Tell speaks amazingly about the pressures of the media and how it can affect someone. Something as simple as a few screenshots ruin the main character’s life and that relates to the state of social media today. While this story wasn’t really for me as a big chunk of it is about the romance between two characters and I didn’t find myself invested in it, it still has very good writing and tells an interesting story. 3/5 stars.
