Nightfall by Shannon Messenger is the sixth book in the Keeper of the Lost Cities fantasy series. In this book, Sophie and her friends are fighting back, but sometimes their fighting isn’t enough. With the Neverseen getting stronger, and the Black Swan getting weaker, Sophie begins to wonder if she should try something entirely different. Is it time to trust the enemy? And if she trusts the enemy, will they be able to pay the price? When Sophie’s family is put in the middle of it all, she must protect her sister, and save her parents, before everything comes crumbling down. I love how this series has such complex characters and character relationships. I often find myself left wanting more of the story.
