Lia is headed to Mirror Lake for the summer, where her grandma lives. Or where her grandma used to live before she disappeared over 2 months ago. Lia and her sister Emma suddenly receive a letter from their grandma inviting them to participate in a competition to win the theater used for magic at the lake. When Lia makes it to the lake she is aware of the unspoken rule that Mongomery girls like her cannot fall for Blackwell boys. Lia soon realizes that this is easier said than done. Lia slowly starts to fall for Beckett Blackwell, but does he feel the same way? In this book of love, finding who you are, and revenge, how will Lia handle all of it?!
This book is pretty good. In the beginning of this book I really struggled to continue reading. This book had a good storyline, however it could have been written in a much more engaging way. Amy Noelle Parks really made it easy to root for some of the characters and despise some of them. This aspect made the book more interesting and fun to read, even if it was slow. Overall, this book wasn’t one I will remember enjoying.
