Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters is a exciting book to read with nice humor and fun
action by Rick Riordan. The second book in the series is about Percy having to save the camp
and the tree that protects it. The tree is poisoned and Percy must find the Golden Fleece and
save his friend Grover along the way in this incredible adventure. Along the way he fights
monsters, mischief, and stop Luke and his mysterious plans with Kronos.
This is adventure is even crazier than the last s we meet more famous Greek characters and the
myths they represent. From the Siren to Cersei Percy and Annabeth’s adventure had even more
stakes this time around. Percy made me laugh multiple times in this novel and I was hooked
from the beginning to the end. However the only thing I didn’t like about this book was this book
felt sort of fillery as nothing really progressed in the main story and this really felt like setup for
the third due to the end of the novel. I still don’t know Kronos’ plan.
