Vengeful by V.E. Schwab is one of the only sequels that I thoroughly enjoyed and am content
with the ending. Just like its prequel, Vicious
and turns that you would never expect. Throughout the story, Victor is on a mission to treat his
pain and illness, which limits his powers and increasingly weakens him each day. Mitch and
Sydney continue to follow Victor and support his endeavors. Little did the protagonists know, Eli
is in fact not dead and has been kept somewhere hidden but he, too, is searching for EOs, but
for an alternative reason; Eli plans to kill them all. I recommend this book, especially to those
who’ve read the 1st one in this duology and V.E. Schwab fans. I’ve read her other works but
these 2 in particular are my favorites.
