King’s Cage by Victoria Aveyard is the third book in the Red Queen series. Maven, now a king,
has imprisoned Mare and took away her lethal power. Her new team prepares for war, and Cal,
the rightful, but exiled, heir to the throne of Norta, will do anything to get Mare back from his evil
brother. Will they succeed, or will Norta burn down in flames after the heated war breaks out?
I enjoyed reading this book. I was not disappointed in any part of it, and enjoyed the flow and
plot twists. I read the first two books and they were so good that I just had to read the third one.
I would recommend this book to teens who like reading dystopian fiction with plot twists,
characters yearning for revenge, and most of all, betrayal and lies. I would rate this book a 5/5.
