On his 13th birthday, Harry Potter finds out that there is a mysterious man that goes by

the name of Sirius Black, that is on the loose and has escaped from Azkaban. Later, he also

finds out that he is after Harry. On the way there, a creature called a dementor boarded the

Hogwarts Express to protect it, but Harry ended up passing out and was awakened by the new

Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. Once he gets there, he has classes like usual, but the

next day, Sirius Black broke into Hogwarts and destroyed the Fat Lady portrait that guards the

Gryffindor Tower. When he was going to visit Hogsmeade, but couldn’t because he didn’t have a

permission slip. Ron’s twin brothers then give him a special map that allows him to sneak into

Hogsmeade. Later, they find Sirius Black and were going to give him the Dementor’s Kiss, but

Harry and his friends plead that he is not who they thought he was...

In my opinion, this book is great! I love the way that J.K. Rowling has written it, and it

kept me on the edge of my chair the entire time! I especially love J.K. Rowling’s word choice in

this book because it really helps you understand things better. Personally, my favorite part is

where they explore Hogsmeade because I find the place very fascinating. I would definitely

recommend it and give it 5 stars!
