The Mysterious Affair at Styles by Agatha Christie is a mystery novel. Set in the English
countryside, the case of Emily Inglethorp, the wealthy mistress of Styles Court, is a peculiar one.
At a party with friends and family, Mrs. Inglethorp is found in her bedroom poisoned. The list of
suspects is extensive, but fortunately, it includes the famous Belgian detective we all love. Will
the beloved detective be able to piece together the puzzle, or will he, too, be left in the dark?
I absolutely loved this book! This book was the first Agatha Christie mystery that I read,
and it’s the closest thing to true love I’ve ever encountered! (yet...) It’s witty and charming with
wonderful characters, and it’s an absolute must read!
