Summary: This book is about a girl who sneaks off to her grandparent's house with a dead
phone for a while. She then realizes that the town has been evacuated and she has been left
behind in a ghost town. Now she has to stay alive surviving off of canned food and her only
company, a dog.
Opinion: I think that this book had good potential but the product wasn’t great. It had a pretty
basic plot and everything was just repetitive. It felt like the story was, something went wrong,
she overcame it, something went wrong, she survived. I also don’t think that the ending was
very good either and it was anti-climactic. I would recommend this book to people who enjoy a
quick read (Since this was in verse), and to people who enjoy fiction books.
