As Harry leaves the Dursleys’ for the last time to set off to find all of Voldemort’s
horcruxes, they get attacked by multiple Death Eaters and Voldemort, who tried to kill Harry but
his wand fended him off. They camp in the woods, with no idea where to go or what to do, when
Harry sees a silver doe patronus leads Harry to where the real Sword of Gryffindor was kept,
which they could use to destroy the Horcruxes. Harry then accidentally says Voldemort’s name,
which triggers a tracking spell. That gets them captured and taken to the Malfoy Manor. They
figure out that a Horcrux is stored in Bellatrix Lestrange’s vault. Harry, Hermione, and Ron then
brake in and steal the Hufflepuff Cup, and escape on a dragon. They head back to Hogwarts
and begin to rally for the big fight. Voldemort and his followers then attack Hogwarts and Harry
lets Voldemort kill him because he is one of the last Horcrux. Harry comes back to life, and
finishes off Voldemort.
As the final book in the Harry Potter series, The Deathly Hallows is definitely an amazing
book. Even though it is 608 pages and one of the longest books in the series, J.K. Rowling’s
storytelling throughout the book and entire series is spectacular. The end was great and made
complete sense. It wasn’t like a cliffhanger as most books normally end with. I love this book
and would definitely recommend going through with the series.
