Cassandra “Cassie” Hobbes has a gift. She can describe a person’s personality by
what they wear, what type of car they drive, or even how they act on a video. She has
known about this gift, however she didn’t know how powerful it could become, until
Micheal shows up on behalf of the FBI, recruiting her to use her gift to solve cold
cases for the FBI. Cassie’s mom was murdered 5 years ago and her father is very
distant, so she takes the chance and heads to Washington D.C. to join the naturals
program, and meet the people she will be working with.
I loved this book! I have read The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes, and
was immediately hooked, so when a friend recommended The Naturals to me, I knew
I had to check it out. I love how in the book the naturals are trying to solve the case,
but you also get to try to solve the case and work alongside them. The character
relationships were very intriguing and the way the characters develop is quite
interesting. Overall, I loved this book and I would recommend it to anyone who is a
fan of Jennifer Lynn Barnes, Karen M Mcmanus, or Holly Jackson.
