In the previous book, A Good Girls Guide to Murder, Pip chooses to look into a murder case for her
senior capstone project and eventually, she learns the truth about the case. After finishing her
senior project investigating the Andie Bell murder case and releasing a true-crime podcast
documenting all her evidence and explanations someone Pip knows goes missing. Jamie
Reynolds, the brother of her close friend Connor goes disappears the night of the town's memorial
for Andie Bell and her boyfriend Sal Singh. Even though Pip has sworn she will not investigate
once again, the police are not looking into the case because Jamie is 24 and once deemed not
unusual for him to disappear, she begins to investigate the case. After uncovering more unknown
truths about the town and about Jamie, the trial regarding Max Hastings and the court case
continues throughout the book and leaves Pip with even more determination to find Jamie before
it's too late. This book has constant plot twists and leaves you relentlessly wanting to read more.
I found this book to be quite entertaining and captivating. I would recommend this book to anyone
who is fond of mysteries, suspenseful plots, or enjoyed the first book in the series.
