Percy Jackson and the Titan’s Curse is the third novel in the Percy Jackson series and is written by Rick Riordan. In this part of the series, Percy and his friends have to protect two powerful demigods while trying to stop the titans from advancing their plans to rise again.
Rick Riordan is particularly known for his humorous dialogue along with his intense writing, and this book shows a lot of that. Riordan knows how to make a book funny without overdoing it, and that’s exactly what he does to balance the humor with all the tension. However, one thing about this book that’s interesting is how emotional it is. The previous books were pretty sad at times, but this book as a couple moments that might move you to tears, and it’s all thanks to Riordan’s excellent character work. Even with characters that are brand new, Riordan manages them to make them memorable, and that’s an amazing achievement.
Just like the first two books, I’d recommend this one strongly because of all the elements it retains as well as all the new things it brings. I don’t want to say much because anything else I say would be spoilers, but I will say that you won’t regret reading this amazing book.
