Get a Life, Chloe Brown, written by Talia Hibbert, tells the tale of a girl who was involved in a car crash that almost killed her. She then makes it a goal to make a life for herself. She comes up with six items for her to get a life, but she needs assistance along the way. So she asks a handyman named Redford (Red) Morgan, who she has known for quite some time, with assisting her through this journey. But will she catch feelings for him along the way?
I enjoyed the simplicity of the novel in the writer’s style. I would rate it three out of five stars because I also felt like the reading level could be more challenging. The plot was predictable from the very start, and Chloe seems to be problematic herself but doesn’t want to admit to it. She knows she shouldn’t go for Red, but she does. Chloe needs to get her priorities straight.
