Josh and Jordan Bell “JB”, the twins of a famous former NBA player, strive to be the best on the court. But as time goes on, the two are met with an even bigger opponent -- life. Although the boys’ close relationship may help them in some cases, a spark of change could ultimately change their relationship for good or worse.
Despite the fact that the two boys are considered “basketball legends” at their school, on the inside, they are just normal middle schoolers which I, myself, loved. It made the two of them very relatable. With the poetic formatting of the book, it gave the story a more flowy and personal feeling while reading. Not only was it relatable, the book had bits and pieces of funny moments, making it memorable. Overall, I would rate the book a 4 out of 5 and for those who love a slice of life kind of book, this is a book for you.
