Where the Mountain Meets the Moon is a story about a girl named Minli who lives in a poor village on Fruitless Mountain. After hearing a story about how the old man of the moon, who lived on the top of Never-Ending Mountain could grant you one wish, Minli decided to start her search for the old man of the moon. Along the way she meets a talking fish, a king, and even a dragon. I love this book because there are alot of unexpected twists and fun characters. My favorite character is the king who helps Minli along her journey. With 48 chapters and lots of fun stories, I would recommend this book for late elementary and middle school age readers. If you like a story about adventure and friendship, Where the Mountain Meets the Moon is a great book for you.
