Twisted Hate is a fictional romance novel by Ana Huang. Despite their effortless charm when it comes to other people, Josh Chen and Jules Ambrose have hated each other from the moment they met - Josh said that Jules was a bad influence on his sister, Ava, and she’s never forgotten it. But their chemistry is undeniable, and now it’s unavoidable as Ava gets a temp job at the same health clinic that Josh volunteers with. They make an arrangement to try to avoid catching feelings, but it only seems to do the opposite. With the threatening texts that won’t stop and dark secrets that Ava can’t seem to talk about, will their burgeoning relationship survive?
This book is definitely in my top two for the Twisted series. I did think that the whole deal with the secret texts and crime aspect was over dramatic and unrealistic, but other than that I really enjoyed the dynamic between the love interests. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys some fun dialogue between characters or the other books in the series, and I would give it four out of five stars.
